The Breakfast Club started.
Underprivileged students & local
volunteers begin feeding 350 children

The Kusasa Project awarded PBO & 18A
tax-exempt status from South African
Revenue Service |

The Kusasa Project awarded R80k for
Literacy Project from Reed
International. Funds to be matched by UK
donors with 4 local schools targeted for
comprehensive literacy initiative. |

November 2008: |
The Kusasa Project awarded 5 year
scholarship support for 23 students by
the Chello Foundation (arm of
Liberty
Global Inc.- LGI) |

January 2009: |
The Kusasa Project starts a 2nd
Breakfast Club feeding 300 children each
school day at Wes Eind Primer bringing
the number of children served breakfast
daily to over 700. |
